The LaGrange Country Club sought to replace several outdated buildings with a new bathhouse, pro shop, and cart storage facilities. Doyle was engaged for the comprehensive demolition of the site and with timing critical due to the golf season and weather constraints, we efficiently constructed the bathhouse under a tent and completed it ahead of schedule. All demolition spoils were kept on site to create soil berms and enhance the course, with careful coordination with the club’s superintendent and architect.
Late in the project, we were asked to provide design-build services for the Pro Shop. By offering more competitive pricing than initially received, we ensured the project was finished in time for Chicagoland’s annual directors outing. This timely and cost-effective approach allowed us to meet all deadlines, deliver high-quality results and contribute to the overall improvement of the golf course. Years later, we returned to complete a new tennis complex, entrance, parking lot, and section of the driving range.
