Preconstruction
Setting the stage for success through meticulous preconstruction planning
Doyle takes a thorough approach to the preconstruction Phase of each project. Initially, we work with the owner and/or architect to develop preliminary drawings and documents that help establish a baseline budget to meet the owner’s program needs. If the initial documents and budget align with the owner’s expectations, we move forward. If there are discrepancies, we make or recommend necessary adjustments to the conceptual design to better meet the owner’s budget goals. Once the preliminary documentation is complete, the architect moves forward with the development of the full construction documents from which we can finalize a final cost proposal / GMP deliverable for owner approval. Throughout the preconstruction process, we manage the project’s scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, communication, and procurement to ensure a successful project once construction starts.
