The Village of Willowbrook acquired the building adjacent to their Village Hall to create a new space for board meetings and a community center. Doyle was hired to complete the interior build-out of the existing 7,880 SF Community Resource Center, which included the construction of a 2,700 SF Village Board Room, a 2,225 SF multi-purpose room, a 330 SF conference room, a service kitchen, and new bathrooms, along with upgraded plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems.
One of the Village's top priorities was implementing an advanced communication system for their board meetings. We managed the design-build of the audio-visual systems, partnering with a company that provided cutting-edge technology. The system includes microphones, video screens, and an audio setup that ensures clear visibility and sound for every member at the front tables, as well as the public in attendance. The selected cameras intelligently detect and follow speaker movements, whether they are board members or audience participants, allowing for seamless virtual participation during the Village Board meetings.
