The Wheaton North Commons project began as a speculative real estate venture to assemble a cohesive commercial development from six residential lots. Doyle provided comprehensive preconstruction services, offering early input on all aspects of the development. The project involved constructing a 5,000 SF branch bank, a 10,000 SF retail center, and a 25,000 SF medical office building, along with a new parking lot with 165 spaces.
All three buildings were built simultaneously, allowing for efficient construction management with one Superintendent overseeing the entire project. The coordination required to complete the development cohesively was critical. Doyle collaborated closely with the architect to ensure that each building maintained a consistent architectural theme, resulting in a unified campus for future occupants.
