The Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL wanted to replace their outdated Vehicle & Maintenance and Salt Storage Buildings with larger facilities that would meet their growing operational needs. Originally planned for 2020, the project was put on hold due to the pandemic. Two years later, the hospital was eager to get their project back up and running and reached out to Doyle to reassess and work through their previous budget. After reviewing and providing updated pricing, we were selected to lead the project, aligning the updated budget and scheduling with the hospital’s goals.
Additionally, during construction of the 2,000-SF salt storage building, our team faced challenges coordinating between the salt enclosure fabric supplier and the carpenters for installation. By organizing weekly meetings with both parties, we were able to ensure the salt structure was completed and installed correctly in order to have it properly warrantied. The hospital now has the newly expanded facilities needed to support its growing needs, delivered on time and within budget.
