After completing Innovator 1, Doyle was again engaged by Innovator Capital Management to provide construction services for a larger office facility that would serve as their new headquarters and accommodate their growing operations. The project involved a complete renovation of a 3-story office building, taking it down to its bare structure before remodeling the interior and making exterior improvements to suit their expanding needs.
Located in the busy area of Downtown Wheaton, the project demanded significant coordination to keep roadways accessible throughout construction. Additionally, the building’s proximity to active railroad tracks required special insurance, safety protocols, and daily oversight from the railroad company, ensuring the work met all safety and logistical requirements for a successful build, which was completed on time and within budget.
