Following Doyle’s initial work with Cox Automotive, which involved constructing a 15,100 SF canopy, inclusive of concrete piers, radiant heating, and a comprehensive electrical, lighting, and fire alarm system, Cox identified a need for additional space to house their mechanic’s shop, conceived as an 11,000 SF pre-engineered metal building. Construction of this project encompassed a broad scope of work, including excavation, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, epoxy flooring, and painting.

One of the major challenges during the project was working within an active and busy facility. Constant coordination was required as we navigated around the movement of cars, ensuring safe material handling through the use of temporary fences, access routes, and clear signage. Despite the operational complexity of the site, we successfully completed the project on time and within budget, showcasing our ability to deliver work within dynamic, high-traffic environments.
