The Cosley Zoo required an enclosure for its exciting new bobcat exhibit, and Doyle rose to the challenge by creating the most complex and detailed animal exhibit to date at the Cosley Zoo in Wheaton. The new 400 SF bobcat enclosure features sculpted concrete rock structures, heated rocks, and a waterfall flowing into a pond with sophisticated filtration equipment. The work was complicated by the tight space around existing exhibits and the requirement for the zoo to remain operational throughout construction.
We managed the challenges of coordinating heavy equipment operations and material deliveries with both the zoo and the City of Wheaton. Despite these constraints, the project was completed with meticulous attention to detail, enhancing the zoo’s offerings while ensuring minimal disruption to its operations.
