The Bartel’s Auto Clinic aspired to expand their existing facility footprint and double their capacity for operations and servicing. In order to begin the project, Doyle was required to obtain a special use permit through Carol Stream, as well as approval from the Village Board to proceed with construction. This process involved significant coordination and numerous meetings to ensure all necessary permissions were secured.

We developed a comprehensive preconstruction schedule, clearly outlining responsibilities for each task, which helped streamline the approval process. Due to tight deadlines, we released an early pricing package for the precast and steel components to meet the target date for precast delivery. By securing these approvals and materials early, we were able to complete the foundation, precast, and pavement before the winter, allowing us to continue work through the colder months. As a result, we completed on time and within budget, successfully delivering a new 10,000-SF automotive facility, doubling Bartel’s facility footprint. In previous years, we also constructed a 6,000SF auto repair facility for Bartel’s at their Plainfield location.
