The Village of Minooka received a donation of 40 acres of land to create what is now the Aux Sable Springs Park development. Doyle was engaged to implement the site improvements, including new walking paths, boat launches, fishing outcropping structures, baseball fields, a lacrosse field, soccer fields, playgrounds, parking lots, native vegetation restoration, and extensive earthwork.

As the project progressed, Doyle added significant value by identifying opportunities for improvement. We worked closely with the landscape architect and engineer to resolve conflicts regarding the pathways, ensuring they met ADA (American Disabilities Act) compliance. In addition, we observed that the wetland area was experiencing excessive moisture, which hindered plant establishment. We proposed relocating a drain tile and adjusting the low-flow channels to improve drainage, a solution that ultimately allowed the plants to thrive. Through proactive problem-solving and collaboration, we ensured the park would meet both functional and environmental goals, delivering a vibrant community space.
